Hedge Fund Industry Recovery
Has the Hedge Fund Industry Recovered Yet?
Hedge funds have had a significant rebound in terms of performance but it's hard to tell whether the industry has recovered on a whole. More hedge funds have closed than new ones have opened this year-to-date, but 224 new hedge funds were started and 190 funds were liquidated in Q3 (see this week's article). Assets are starting to return following a year of heavy redemptions and investor confidence seems to be rising after consistent returns this year. Ken Heinz of Hedge Fund Research gives his take on the hedge fund industry's recovery in the following video. E-mail subscribers can watch the video here.Related to: Hedge Fund Industry Recovery
