Jayhawk Capital Management has liquidated a hedge fund due to a lack of opportunities.

“In our opinion, fundamentals for U.S. equities have deteriorated further since our June 30 newsletter,” Jayhawk founder Kent McCarthy said today. “Accordingly, we would prefer to have our assets invested in Asia, particularly in China.”

Jayhawk Institutional Partners, which invested primarily in the U.S., had boasted annualized returns of more than 20% for almost a decade. Source
