Year to Date Market Returns or Performance
Year to Date. In a financial or statistical report, the cumulative value of a quantity, aggregated from the first day of the current calendar or fiscal year through the effective date listed on the report. Organizations typically use YTD numbers as interim measures of their activity or progress.
