Mutual Fund Prospectus | What is it?
A legal document setting forth the complete history and current status of a security issue which must be made available to all interested purchasers in advance of a public offering under the Securities Act of 1933. The formal written document must describe the plan for a proposed business enterprise, or the facts concerning an existing one, that an investor needs in order to make an informed decision.
